Jamii Moja Lunch Party

Jamii Moja is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization founded by a tremendous group of local Oregon women who help improvised African communities to improve their quality of life through sustainable practices.  Hitched was honored to work with not only this incredible group of volunteers but to be part of a great cause like this.  We threw two launch parties to kick off their fundraising efforts this year, one in Portland at Kells Irish Pub & Restaurant, and one in Bend at the Black Horse Saloon.  During the event we supplied hand made crafts and jewelry by the women of the African communities, a silent auction and live auction that helped raise a solid amount to begin their many planned projects in Africa.  Thanks to all of the sponsors and donors that helped make these events a success.  Visit them on their website at http://www.jamiimoja.org/ to learn more.
